Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Structural Engineer with a strong background in domestic timber frame design. The ideal candidate will have a few years of experience and be eager to contribute to our diverse project portfolio while helping us maintain our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and analyse timber frame structures for residential projects.
2. Collaborate with clients, architects, and other engineers to deliver optimal solutions.
3. Conduct site surveys and assessments to inform design decisions.
4. Prepare detailed calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
5. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
6. Participate in project management tasks, including budgeting and scheduling.
Qualifications
1. Degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
2. Proven experience in domestic timber frame design.
3. Familiarity with relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000).
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
