Requirements
8. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/ PGCE with a specialism in Geography
9. Eligibility to work in the UK is essential
10. An enhanced DBS on the update service - this is essential
11. Minimum of 3 Months teaching experience in the UK.
12. Previous experience teaching the Geography GCSE curriculum
13. Provide 2 proven professional references.
14. Opportunity of a permanent position
Responsibilities
15. Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with curriculum requirements
16. Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in Geography to students across KS3 and KS4
17. Lead and manage the Geography department, ensuring a high-quality curriculum and teaching standards
18. Support, develop, and hold accountable the Geography teaching team
19. Contribute to raising student attainment standards across the school
20. Share and support the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth
21. Promote the wellbeing of staff and students within the department
