Exam Invigilators £12.98 per hour
Stockport Academy is an oversubscribed secondary school in Greater Manchester that has been recently recognised as Secondary School of the Year at the MEN Schools Awards.
It is a diverse, tolerant and welcoming community, where Ofsted inspector describe standards as ‘high’ and where ‘relationships between pupils and teachers are typically strong and pupils trust teachers to help them improve their work’. Inspectors noted that ‘staff are proud to be part of the school community’.
We are looking to increase our team of Exam Invigilators, to help ensure efficient running of the School's examinations. Invigilators will be required to work during examination periods between September and July. Successful candidates will be employed on a zero hours contract.
The role will require individuals to work with candidates as part of a team or as a lone invigilator, this will involve supervising students in exams as well as reading and scribing. Full training will be given. Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills; a confident and assertive manner and a flexible approach to working hours.
