Business Development Executive
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in JP Corry Coleraine as a Business Development Executive!
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting out on the road, meeting a wide range of people from various backgrounds. Our Business Development Executives are responsible for supporting our colleagues and clients in Coleraine and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
1. To identify and generate selling opportunities for the full range of company products
2. Provide realistic quotations to satisfy customer needs
3. To negotiate best possible deals which satisfy both customer and company requirements
4. To maintain up to date customers records and use them as an effective selling tool
5. Exchange information to maximise selling opportunities, solve problems and make decisions
6. To ensure customers credit worthiness is established and properly controlled in line with agreed terms
7. Any other reasonable duties deemed necessary and reasonable for the success of the business

Required Skills and Experience:
1. Strong current knowledge of building materials and of the current construction market
2. Recent proven experience in an external face to face account management role (B2B)
3. Willing and able to work both in a field and office-based sales capacity
4. Full and clean driving license is essential
5. Current knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
6. A passion for delivering customer service excellence
7. Competent in the use of IT (CRM, Excel, outlook etc.)
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; written, phone and face to face.
Please note that this is a full-time position based in our Coleraine branch, with travel throughout the North Coast region. A full driving licence will be essential for this role.
