Salary: £160 - £250 per day
In partnership with Teaching Personnel, our outstanding rated partner secondary school is seeking a talented and passionate Textiles Teacher to join our team for a maternity cover position from December 2024 to May 2025.
We are looking for a dynamic educator who is committed to inspiring students and delivering high-quality lessons in Textiles, helping to nurture creativity and skill development in a supportive and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with enthusiastic students across Key Stage 3 and 4, providing a comprehensive and engaging curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and creative textiles lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4
* Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the textiles curriculum
* Support students' personal development and well-being
* Prepare and maintain resources and equipment for lessons
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
* Have a passion for textiles and a strong knowledge of the subject
* Demonstrate effective teaching methods and classroom management skills
* Be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
* Have experience teaching Textiles at Key Stage 3 and 4 (desirable)
