Corporate Property Underwriter
Salary: circa £55,000

A bit about the job:
The position on offer is as a Property Underwriter on Corporate Property, a team within our Global Corporate and Speciality team. Being a ‘Team player’, including support of management and the development of colleagues.
The role will include underwriting UK and Multinational Corporate Property Business. It will contribute to the development and execution of the team strategy and business plan and will deliver an excellent service to our customers (brokers and clients) and business partners.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. A good level of experience in Property Insurance, including underwriting, risk assessment, pricing, coverage and setting of terms
2. Good customer service and complaint handling skills including communication and negotiation skills
3. Understanding of Global Insurance Products is desirable and an understanding of the regulatory aspects of writing commercial insurance
4. Good knowledge of the market, its issues and dynamics, including reinsurance
5. ACII qualification or progression towards preferable

6. Salary circa £55,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
