Purpose of job
To effectively provide support to the Risk and Compliance Director to ensure that the firm's compliance and regulatory regime meets current requirements, conditions and client expectations.
Provide support to fee earners and secretaries in relation to risk and quality queries/processes.
Accountabilities
1. Dealing with AML searches through an electronic provider
2. Checking and logging of Money Laundering ID, referring to Risk & Compliance Officer where required.
3. Chasing non-receipt of ID where required.
4. Responding to general queries regarding the types of ID acceptable.
5. Dealing with file transfers.
6. Updating data on internal systems as required
7. Issuing monthly print outs to fee earners.
8. Undertaking tasks identified from print out reviews.
9. Make suggestions for improvement of effectiveness and efficiency.
10. Generally support the department with ad hoc tasks.
11. Responsible for ensuring own knowledge and training is kept up to date and requesting training when necessary.

Qualifications/Experience
13. Educated to GCSE or O level standard or equivalent
14. Knowledge/experience of anti-money laundering desirable
15. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software (including Outlook, Excel & Word)
