About The Role: As the Production Manager, you will be pivotal in managing the end-to-end production process. Based across our Aldgate East office and Park Royal production kitchen, you’ll oversee inventory, production scheduling, quality control, and team leadership. You’ll work with Charlie to make sure we continue to make amazing food, to a high standard, while keeping up with the rapid growth we’re having. This role is perfect for someone experienced in food production who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. What you’ll be up to: Production Inventory Management: Manage our stock levels across our online store, production facility and distribution hub. You’ll utilise tools like Shopify, tracker spreadsheets and physical stock takes. Production Scheduling: Develop and adjust weekly production schedules to meet demand efficiently, using forecasting spreadsheets and developing knowledge of SKU level demand. Bulk Ordering of Raw Materials: Manage bulk orders from our major ingredients and packaging suppliers, balancing lead times with production needs. Dispatch: Coordinate product dispatch and communicate with our 3PL distribution hub around stock levels and fulfilment needs. Team Management: Oversee production team schedules, facilitate training and handle daily communication with the kitchen team. Our kitchen runs 7 days a week with at least 10 staff each day - setting efficient systems will be vital. Invoice Management: Review and organise invoices related to production operations. Quality Control SALSA Compliance : Ensure ongoing compliance with SALSA food safety standards. Record Sign-offs : Complete daily, weekly, and monthly production and quality record sign-offs. Internal Process Auditing : Conduct internal audits to improve and maintain high standards. Traceability Testing and Records : Regularly perform traceability tests and maintain thorough records. Product Quality and Shelf Life Testing : Oversee testing to ensure product consistency, quality, and safety.
