Team Leader/Support Worker - We are a small care home for young adults with Autism and associated differences. Our staff are precious to us, and we ensure they are valued and well-supported.
We are seeking a new team member who has a minimum of 2 years experience in working with adults/children who have Autism and associated learning difficulties.
We require either full-time (37.5 hours per week) or part-time staff (minimum 15 hours per week).
Qualifications in care (Level 2) would be desirable, but a full induction and ongoing training will be provided. All staff will need to have or gain the Diploma Level 3 in Adult Social Care.
Depending on experience, the role may involve supporting or leading shifts and encouraging our young people to become as independent as possible by helping them to access a range of local community resources and activities. A driving licence is necessary as the home is very busy with lots of activities taking place across the day. There will be the opportunity for further training, possible promotion, gym membership, and private medical insurance after a qualifying period. The home aims to provide a low-key, calm environment but with the passion and ethos of an extended family.
Be part of something really special and work for a company where you will be respected and valued.
