An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent full time and part time Band 5 staff nurse within the acute ward of Campbeltown Community Hospital.
This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified general nurse to work within the beautiful rural location of Kintyre on the west coast of Scotland.
The ward has 15 beds and cares for acute admissions with medical input provided by GPs.
Rehabilitation services from the multi-disciplinary team are also provided, as are day case services to deliver adjunct therapies and transfusions.
The role will involve the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high quality, evidence based holistic care.
The post holder will need to be innovative and possess an ability to work across professional boundaries, underpinned by a real desire to provide the highest standards of patient care.
There will be opportunities to develop your skills and experience in other areas such as unscheduled care / advanced assessment / palliative care.
