We are excited to receive applications from highly skilled, motivated, enthusiastic consultants or trainees who recently completed (or are about to complete) CCT. The opportunity of anestablished full time child and adolescent psychiatry post has arisen. The successful applicants / post holders will join an integrated multi-disciplinary team providing child and adolescent mental health care to the population of Bolton.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant/post holder will have the opportunity to provide clinical leadership over specific components of service, from either Single Point of Access &, or Core Affective Services or Early Intervention in Psychosis.
The successful applicant will work within the service alongside consultant child and adolescent psychiatrists, Specialty Doctor, a consultant therapist, a consultant paediatrician, clinical psychologists, CAMHS Practitioners from nursing, social work, therapy, and other allied backgrounds, Non-Medical Prescribers and Emotional Health and Well Being Practitioners, all providing a plethora of assessments including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule interview and Qb Test, and interventions including psychopharmacology, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Analytical Therapy (CAT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Response Therapy (EMDR), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Systemic Family Therapy and Functional Family Therapy, both individual and group, alongside care co-ordination.
