Procurement Manager - Blue Chip food to go manufacturing
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to drive cost savings, maintain quality standards, and ensure timely delivery of raw materials and supplies.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships with key vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and optimize stock based on production schedules and market trends.
- Ensure all purchased materials meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards set by the food industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, streamline procurement operations, and achieve operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in the food manufacturing industry or similar role with expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier management.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, or related field; advanced certifications in procurement or supply chain are advantageous.
- Proficiency in procurement software, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, communicate effectively, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
