We are seeking a dedicated Duty Manager to oversee daily operations at a prestigious venue. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
Duty Manager Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise daily operations of the bar, restaurant, and accommodation facilities
* Ensure all areas are kept clean and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety standards
* Coordinate with the Head Housekeeper to manage housekeeping staff and oversee the cleaning schedules of the premises, including regular deep cleaning
* Manage staff schedules, ensuring all shifts are covered and operational needs are met, including weekend work
* Handle customer queries and concerns promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
* Maintain inventory and stock control for the bar and restaurant to ensure seamless service delivery
* Enforce all compliance regulations and company policies among staff members to maintain a safe and professional environment
Duty Manager Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably with knowledge of both front-of-house and accommodation services
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of nurturing strong relationships with both staff and guests
* Proactive in dealing with issues and capable of making decisions under pressure
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, according to business needs
