Days & Hours: Thursday to Monday 10:00-17:30 (30-minute lunch break)

About the role
We have a great opportunity for a Sales Negotiator to join our successful New Homes team. This is a new role based at West Shore, Granton Waterfront, which is a vibrant new flat development comprising of 56 contemporary and environmentally focused one and two bed apartments.
As the onsite Sales Negotiator you'll be responsible for handling incoming enquiries, progressing these leads through to sale negotiation and on to achieve a reservation. From there on, you'll be responsible for seeing each sale through to handover. To be successful you must be able to build rapport with clients and buyers, qualifying their needs effectively then negotiate and close the sale.
Key responsibilities
* Know and understand the full range of properties available on the development
* Build detailed knowledge of buyer's individual needs and match these to available properties
* Follow up all enquiries and also actively progress sales from reservation to completion
* Maximise the conversion rate of visitors to reservations
* Negotiate effectively, using developer incentives where applicable
* Complete all administration on time and accurately
* Carry out home demonstrations with purchasers prior to settlement
* Carry out snagging inspection and handover appointment on behalf of the developer/purchaser at time of settlement
* Actively cross-sell Rettie services including estate agency, lettings and financial services
Key requirements
* Proven experience in a property sales role
* Thrive in a competitive selling environment with a proven track record of success
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Target driven
* Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
* Methodical and accurate with information systems
* Have ability to use IT systems - word, excel and database
* Full, clean driving licence
