Position Details:
* Location: Towcester, Silverstone
* Start Date: January 2025 or earlier
* Contract: Permanent, full-time
* Salary: £25,410 - £38,520 per annum (dependent on relevant qualifications and experience) plus SEN allowance and additional benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering high-quality teaching and support to students with a range of Special Educational Needs
* Tailoring lesson plans and resources to meet individual learning needs
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters confidence, growth, and academic progress
* Supporting the holistic development of students, encouraging independence and self-confidence
* Collaborating with the wider teaching and support teams to ensure effective delivery of individual education plans (IEPs)
* Regularly assessing and reporting on students' progress to parents, carers, and relevant stakeholders
* Participating in ongoing professional development to maintain up-to-date SEN teaching strategies and practices
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
* Proven experience working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
* Flexibility, patience, and resilience in meeting the varied needs of SEN students
* A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people with additional needs
* Knowledge of SEN teaching techniques, including differentiated instruction and behavioural management strategies
* Additional SEN qualifications or training would be an advantage, but not essential
