BI Developer
Location: London, UK - Hybrid Working
Salary offering: £50K - £60K Per Annum
Fixed Term Contract: 12 - 18 Months
My client is a leading Regulatory Body professional services organisation, who are looking for an experienced BI Developer to join their growing Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing their data warehouse and BI capabilities, delivering critical reporting and analytics to support the business.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Integrating new data sources and enabling reporting on the client's data
2. Performing source-to-target mappings and aligning data structures to enterprise data models
3. Designing and implementing data warehouse solutions, including data flows, ETL processes, and data models
4. Developing interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI
5. Ensuring data quality, governance, and security standards are met
6. Collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
7. Extensive experience as a BI Developer or equivalent, with a strong focus on data engineering and analytics
8. In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft BI stack, including SSIS, SQL Server, and Power BI
9. Proven skills in data warehousing, ETL, data modelling, and data analysis
10. Hands-on experience with modern BI tools and Azure data technologies
11. Combined deep technical expertise in data engineering and BI development, along with strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills to deliver high-impact data and analytics solutions.
12. Lead the integration of new data sources, enhance the data warehouse, and drive the delivery of critical business intelligence and reporting.
13. Experience in migrating to Dynamics is advantageous
