Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a leading social housing contractor in the London area that are looking for a brand new Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team on a flexible remote basis. This full-time position allows you to work from home five days a week, with occasional travel to the London-based office for meetings and site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects.
Manage and track project costs, ensuring that expenses stay within the allocated budget.
Conduct site visits as required, assessing project progress and costs.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure effective cost control and delivery.
Prepare and evaluate tender documents and contracts.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the social housing industry with repairs background.
Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract management.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Willingness to travel to the London office on an as-needed basis
