Team: Integrated Neighbourhood teams.
We are looking to recruit forward-thinking, experienced qualified Social Workers with a passion for a strengths-based approach.
About the role
The Social Care Team in the Integrated Neighbourhood Teams consists of Social Care Officers and Social Workers. We are co-located with our health colleagues within the local Community, and we work with the residents of Bury and their carers to promote the independence, rights and risks, and empower them to live a positive and fulfilling life.
We have a commitment towards staff, ensuring they feel supported in their role. As a result, we have regular team meetings, staff one-to-ones, peer reflective supervision and encourage continuing professional development and training.
We focus on how people can be supported by the strengths they have in themselves, their network of support from family, friends and their local communities. Where care and support is required, we work to ensure that this reflects the individual’s assessed needs and strengths, while promoting their independence, choice and control.
You will be expected to undertake statutory Social Work functions in line with the Care Act and the Mental Capacity Act. To undertake duties expected of Social Workers in line with the Professional Capabilities Framework and in accordance with the specific job description attached.

What we want from you:
* Person centred and compassionate, you’ll possess excellent listening skills, be highly organised and a team player.
* Passionate about social work and working with adults in a strengths-based way to meet their care and support needs in order to live as independently as possible.
* An in-depth understanding of the legal frameworks relevant to Adult Social Work.
* Social Work England registration.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
* Minimum of two years post-qualified experience.
Level 2 - Qualified £36,648 - £38,223 (Full Time equivalent)
Level 3 - Experienced £39,186 - £41,418 (Full Time equivalent)
We have 2 vacancies at 29.6 hrs a week (4 days). ( Prestwich and West INT) and a further 3 position at 37 hours (West INT and North INT)
