Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Head of Whole Vehicle and TD to refine LV and HV architectures, ensuring compliance with safety, legislative, performance, and cost standards. Manage the design, specification, and supplier coordination for low-voltage wiring harnesses, including routing, securing, and component sizing. Create and maintain schematics using Arcadia and Visio, oversee updates, and develop end-of-line pass/fail requirements and signoff procedures. Provide technical support for software development, testing, and wiring issue resolution, working closely with control systems and test teams. Ensure engineering alignment with company priorities and timelines, managing bill of materials, risk assessments, corrective actions, and design approvals for safety-critical items. Collaborate with program management to meet milestones and deadlines while fostering a positive team culture and supporting recruitment efforts. Professional Skills: Expertise in LV and HV system design for automotive applications, including component design, communication protocols, and industry standards. Proficiency in root cause analysis, first principles design justification, and relevant software (Visio, Arcadia, or similar). Strong documentation, organisational skills, and discipline with release procedures, drawings, and parts tracking. Personal Attributes: Hands-on experience either in professional or personal environments (personal projects, factory floor, etc). Experience working in small, collaborative environments and the ability to create and maintain their own momentum in workplace. Qualifications: Knowledge of CAN bus. 5 Years of relevant experience.
