About the role
As a Recruit A Driver HGV Driver for our client, you will:
* To oversee the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises
* Driving either Class 1 and Class 2 Vehicles.
* To check the load security & weight distribution according to latest safe working practices at the beginning and end of each shift.
* To ensure that the delivery vehicles are always maintained to Company standards, of reporting of any defects to the vehicle.
* Ensures vehicles are in safe condition, with daily checks correctly completed before use, & are operated in a safe manner.
What you need to know:
* Start times: between 06:00am and 08.00, plus overtime when necessary.
* Shift pattern: Monday - Friday.
What you must have:
1. Must hold a valid Class 1 or Class 2 UK license for a minimum of 12 months.
