Overview: Service Care Solutions is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to lead our cost management and project financial planning efforts in Northern Ireland.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
Job Description:
* We are looking for an experienced professional to oversee the financial aspects of our projects, ensuring that costs are accurately estimated and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
* The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic guidance to stakeholders.
* Key responsibilities include maximizing project profitability through effective contract and procurement management, providing guidance on best practices and regulatory compliance, and ensuring high levels of service satisfaction with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
* This role also involves contributing to business growth through bid management, contract negotiation, and commercial opportunities, as well as managing subcontract tenders, including estimating, sub-contractor selection, and contract documentation.
* The ideal candidate will have a 3rd-level Degree in Quantity Surveying, 5+ years of experience, and a proven track record in Estimating, Contractual Issues, and Final Account negotiations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong technical knowledge of construction processes and Civil Engineering/Groundworks experience.
* Excellent team worker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
