Channel Sales Account Manager
Salary: £50,000 (OTE £100k)
Location: Chesire, UK (Hybrid working)
Role Profile
The Channel Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding relationships with IT solution partners, value-added resellers (VARs), and other channel partners. This role will focus on driving revenue growth through indirect sales channels, ensuring that partners are equipped with the tools, resources, and knowledge to effectively sell the company’s IT solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong sales and account management experience, ideally within the IT solutions or technology space, and a proven ability to work with a diverse range of partners to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Partner Development:
* Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners (VARs, MSPs, distributors) that align with the company’s solutions and objectives.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing partners to enhance sales productivity.
* Conduct regular partner meetings to ensure alignment on sales goals, strategy, and product offerings.
* Sales Enablement:
* Train and support channel partners in product knowledge, pricing strategies, and sales techniques to ensure they are fully equipped to sell the company’s solutions.
* Develop and provide marketing materials, sales tools, and resources to support partner-driven sales efforts.
* Act as the primary point of contact for partners, providing guidance and troubleshooting issues as needed.
* Revenue Growth & Account Management:
* Drive channel sales by developing and executing strategies that help partners grow their business using the company’s solutions.
* Manage and forecast sales pipeline and revenue targets for assigned partners.
* Monitor partner performance, addressing gaps in partner sales capabilities and recommending corrective actions where necessary.
* Market Intelligence & Reporting:
* Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and partner activities, providing regular feedback to management.
* Prepare and present reports on channel performance, forecasts, and partner activities to senior leadership.
