We are now recruiting for a Trainer to be based at our customer site in Gaydon to deliver ‘classroom’ based training on engineering systems such as PLM, VIS, CAD, BOM.
Job Purpose
Our customer is an automotive manufacturer, and its PLM Department is responsible for all aspects of PLM ToolSet selection, implementation, deployment, use and support for the business. We are seeking people who are adept as trainers with extensive experience of the Dassault Systèmes 3DExperience toolset in the areas of PLM, VIS, CAD, and Bill Of Materials (BOM).
Trainers working on behalf of Tata Technologies are responsible for developing the competence of its customer employees by participating in the development, delivery and evaluation of learning and development events, with particular reference to induction and continuing professional development events. These events must be delivered within context of the values of its customer company.
The trainer will be responsible for evaluating our needs and current practices and creating and delivering a training development plan complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources such as online modules and guides.
Key Accountabilities
Develop curriculum and design training courses for ALM Toolset Modules ( Jira, XRAY ) for requirement management and Test management from system engineering
Administer training with the ability to deliver, project and motivate trainees through effective training methodologies both online and offline (if required) in group and individual classroom dynamics;
1. Conduct needs assessment and identify performance gaps and implementing training best practices to ensure alignment with company needs;
2. Collaborate with internal business partners to create industry-specific course content;
3. Evaluate success of training implementation by assessing achievement of learning objectives and transfer of knowledge to continuously improve training solutions and identify future learning needs;
4. Utilize a variety of techniques, concepts and development and delivery of training programs and strategies;
5. Manage the learning experience consistent with company philosophy and company-wide strategy;
6. Critically examining the trainees’ understanding and progress and making necessary adjustments to the program
7. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
K nowledge / Experience
8. Extensive experience in instructional design, curriculum development and training delivery or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
9. Experience in delivering training on Engineering systems.
10. Working knowledge of IBM ALM Toolset for automotive is preferred
11. Configuration knowledge of Jira/XRAY added advantage
12. Proven experience as corporate trainer
13. Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools
14. Willingness to keep abreast of new techniques in corporate teaching
15. Proficient in MS Office (esp. Powerpoint); e-learning software is an asset
16. Phenomenal communication, presentation and public speaking skills
17. Organizational and time management abilities
18. Critical thinking and decision making
19. Functional experience in product development in Automotive domain.
