Job Duties:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons for students
* Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
* Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree in Physical Education or a related field
* Enhanced DBS check
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
* Proven experience teaching Physical Education in a school setting
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Physical Education
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to motivate and inspire students
* Organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate certificate in Education (PGCE) with a specialisation in Physical Education
* Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
* First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
* Work primarily in a school setting
* Full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend commitments for extracurricular activities
* Interaction with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis
