Halma plc is seeking a dynamic Sustainability Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in developing and implementing key projects related to the Group’s sustainability strategy, particularly around Scope 3 decarbonisation and transition planning. Reporting into the Group Head of Sustainability, you will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders within the group function and also act as partner for sustainability across the operating companies. The successful Sustainability Manager will: Possess a proven track record of success in developing and implementing climate change and decarbonisation strategies, particularly around Scope 3, and ideally with experience of setting science-based targets. Have multiple years’ experience in corporate sustainability functions within or consulting to manufacturing environments, ideally with exposure to large decentralised organisations or small-medium sized businesses. Be an exceptional communicator, both written and verbally, with the ability to work cross functionally and influence across group functions including executive management teams. Be able to empower, influence, engage with and work alongside the entrepreneurial leadership teams and operational teams of the operating companies, as well as being a first point of contact for sustainability queries.
