CMLConstruction Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of STRABAG SE. Its missionis to provide contract management and legal support to Group companies. As aservice provider with more than 300 employees worldwide, CML supports theoperational colleagues in all phases of the project lifecycle on all majorSTRABAG projects. CML's involvement in a project can be as short as a phonecall, as long as several weeks, or as long as the project requires.Due to theGroup's growing business in the UK market, CML UK is looking to strengthen itscapabilities to maintain the high standard of service to our clients and we arelooking for you to join our team and grow with us.Essential Duties andResponsibilities:
1. Provisionof inhouse contract management services to operative colleagues – mainlySTRABAG UK.
2. Advisingon all contractual matters throughout project life cycle.
3. Reviewthe Employer’s Requirements, Contract Data and Works Information and associatedinformation and highlighting any deficiencies/omissions etc.
4. Prepare,review and complete contract documentation.
5. Supportingthe bid team through tender process.
6. Reviewing,producing of subcontract documentation.
7. Able toperform contract risk analysis for tender purposes.
8. Demonstrateand maintain sound commercial and technical knowledge.
9. Workclosely with legal colleagues from CML and liaise with operative teams.
10. Coordinationand preparation of major contractual correspondence, submittals, referrals andother contractual documentation.
11. Experiencein building up major claims for EOT and/or quantum.
12. Investigating andaddressing contractual issues, including disputes, claims, variations and thelike.
13. Experienceof UK Adjudication is an advantage.In-depthworking knowledge of JCT, NEC and FIDIC standard forms of contract
Qualifikationen
14. Knowledge and Skills:
15. Commitmentto ethical business conduct and trust with sensitive information.
16. Goodorganizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to workunder pressure and deadlines when required.
17. Knowledgeof standard UK construction law/regulations/practices.
18. Self-motivated,persistent, and flexible, with a strong emphasis on a team approach.
19. Requirementto visit project sites in the UK.
20. Able towork with site based operative teams to provide CM support.
21. Timespent on-site as contract manager, QS or similar position is an advantage.
22. Proficientin all Microsoft Office tools such as TEAMS, Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneNote,PowerPoint etc.
23. Soundunderstanding and working knowledge of project programming and scheduling.
24. Workingknowledge of programming software, such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project(or others), is an advantage.
