Macphie Ltd are looking for a Warehouse Operator / Store Person to join the team at Glenbervie.
Shift pattern for the role is Monday to Friday - 2 week rotation of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm (with some ad hoc overtime).
This is a busy, fast-paced role which requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative as well as working effectively as part of a team.

What does a Store Person do?
As a store person, your responsibilities will include picking, packing, and scanning orders, as well as stock intake. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. We require someone who can pay careful attention to detail and follow instructions precisely.
Responsibilities
* Pick, assemble, and package orders as directed and load on vehicle safely and efficiently.
* Receive, label, and store incoming goods in line with defined procedures.
* Receive, scan, and store finished goods in line with defined procedures.
* Maintain the warehouse in a tidy and hygienic condition.
* Operate mechanical handling equipment safely and carry out daily checks as necessary.
* Assist in regular stock checking activities.
* Work safely at all times in accordance with company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
The job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the Team Leader from time to time.
The individual: skills, experience, and qualifications
* Experience in a similar role, preferably within a food production/manufacturing environment.
* Driving license and own transport required.
* Forklift license.
* Former warehouse/stock control experience desirable.
* A team player who adopts a continuous improvement approach.
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Self-motivated and uses initiative.
* Good attention to detail and communication skills.
* Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance.
