Person specification
Knowledge, skills and training
Essential criteria
1. RSA Level 2, or equivalent level of IT skill.
2. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent level of knowledge of office procedures.
3. Min 5 GCSE or equivalent.
Job specific experience
Essential criteria
4. Previous experience within a comparable role, admin and/or customer service.
5. Organising meetings & Minute taking skills.
Desirable criteria
6. Knowledge of RiO, NHS systems.
Information Technology
Essential criteria
7. IT skills, normally obtained through practice or practical training OR Demonstrable experience of using word processing, spreadsheet, database and or presentation software to RSA II or equivalent standard.
Personal qualities/attributes
Essential criteria
8. Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging callers.
9. Demonstrable ability to prioritise effectively.
10. Able to work independently as well as within a team and adhere to sphere of responsibility.
11. Evidence of good communication skills, both verbal and written.
12. To show understanding of patient confidentiality.
Business travel
Desirable criteria
13. Subject to the provisions of the Disability Discrimination Act, able to travel using own vehicle on Trust business. Level 3*
