The University of Oxford is hiring a Senior Purchasing Manager to lead procurement strategies across a diverse £40M annual Estates Operations spend. This pivotal role offers the chance to shape procurement processes, negotiate contracts, and drive value-for-money initiatives in support of the delivery of the world class Estates services. The Purchasing Department sits in the Finance Division, which supports the academic, research and administrative community at the University providing sound financial advice and timely information with a range of support services including financial operations, financial reporting, financial support and professional services. Salary: £55,636 - £64,228 per annum (we reserve the right to consider discretionary scales for the right candidate). Manage tenders and build supplier frameworks. Oversee two direct reports, ensuring excellence in delivery Collaborate with Estates Services to align purchasing strategies with broader goals. About You Senior procurement experience managing multi-million-pound portfolios. Proven ability to develop strategies and deliver value-driven results. Strong leadership and team management skills. Expertise in legal and commercial negotiations.
