Our Team

As a Reward team, we’re small but mighty and have a key role to play in supporting the development of our employer brand. We do this by working in partnership with HR colleagues and business leaders to understand reward challenges and requirements and come up with solutions to enable the bank to achieve its objectives. We’re looking for a proactive and pragmatic Senior Reward Consultant looking to further develop their career within reward. Using your consulting, analytical and problem-solving skills, you’ll work with the Reward Business Partner and HR Business Partners to help develop solutions.

What you’ll be doing
\n
\n
* Engaging with stakeholders and working in partnership with HR and business colleagues on organisational design activities including role sizing and associated salary proposals.
\n
* Taking the lead on aspects of the cyclical reward activities such as salary and bonus review, supporting on development of pay design options and ensuring that critical deadlines are met.
\n
* Providing guidance on the interpretation and implementation of the Bank’s remuneration policies.
\n
* Working in partnership with the employee relations team and HR to review policies on a cyclical basis.
\n
* Providing predictive insights which contribute to the design of reward solutions which are aligned to business goals and support the Bank’s recruitment, retention and motivation of its people
\n
* Producing high quality analytics, undertaking research work on remuneration best practice to support critical HR projects and business as usual regulatory and management remuneration reporting.
\n

We need you to have
\n
\n
* Experience of job evaluation (Hay or Willis Towers Watson) and market benchmarking.
\n
* Great excel and numeracy skills – extensive experience in analytical and reporting capabilities, especially within a reward environment.
\n
* Proficient in being able to distil data from multiple sources and being able to tell a story from the data which can be used by a variety of stakeholders.
\n
* Proven relationship management skills
\n
* Strong project management experience
\n
* Great teamwork and collaboration skills – we’re a small kind team and there are times when we all need to roll our sleeves up and help each other out.
\n

* An understanding of Reward in a Financial Services environment (i.e. regulatory reward considerations)
\n
\n

If you're successful in securing a role with us, there are some checks you need to complete before starting. These include credit and criminal record checks and three years' worth of satisfactory references. If the role is part of the Senior Manager Regime and Certification Regime, it requires enhanced pre-employment checks – we'll ask for six years of regulatory references, and once in the role, you'll be subject to periodic employment checks.
