Deputy Headteacher - Stoke-on-Trent Salary - Up to £55,000 We are collaborating with a Small Specialist School to recruit a Deputy Headteacher. In this role, you will actively contribute to the school leadership team, leading with clear values and focus on delivering outstanding education for all pupils. Key Responsibilities: Support the Headteacher in both strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school. Represent and deputise for the Headteacher - overseeing operations in their absence. Drive high standards and oversee curriculum development, monitoring pupil progress, and ensuring excellence across the board. Manage staff and resources effectively to support the school’s goals. Play a major role in developing, implementing, and reviewing the School Development Plan. Serve as the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. What We’re Looking For: A proven track record of senior leadership (Ideally within Specialist settings) In-depth knowledge of the OFSTED framework Strong leadership skills in safeguarding, curriculum planning, and staff management.
