Internal Sales Officer – Hybrid Role (Remote & Office-based)
We are recruiting for an Internal Sales Officer on behalf of our client, a leading provider of high-quality electro-mechanical connectivity solutions. The company has a strong presence in the UK and internationally, serving key industries such as railway, medical, telecoms, and industrial sectors.
The Role:
As an Internal Sales Officer, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day sales administration, supporting a national and international customer base. The ideal candidate will be proactive, motivated, and customer-focused, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
With a hybrid work arrangement, you’ll spend at least 2 days in the office and the rest remotely, making this a flexible role that still offers the benefits of office collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the in-house commercial contact, providing excellent customer service to both national and international clients.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to drive sales revenue.
* Work closely with fellow Internal Sales Officers to manage customer expectations proactively.
* Create and follow up on quotes, and liaise with external sales teams, as well as planning and purchasing departments.
