The Amazon Marketing Assistant will assist the Head of Digital Marketing in growing book and product sales globally on Amazon to deliver budgeted revenue sales targets. You will ensure our books and products have excellent visibility on Amazon, as well as create and update digital content to engage target audiences and boost sales across all digital platforms. This is a great opportunity to become an expert across a variety of ad platforms including Amazon, Meta and Google, under the mentorship of the Head of Digital Marketing, and rest of the marketing team.
Key responsibilities
Admin
* Complete all administrative tasks in relation to Amazon, ensuring global delivery of first-class metadata and online imagery
* Responsible for creating and updating metadata, covers, spreads, files and additional content across Amazon print and digital platforms
Sales
* Support Head of Digital Marketing with Amazon order monitoring to ensure the UK site can always fulfil customer demand, whilst ensuring minimal to zero returns
* Assist Head of Digital Marketing with analysing sales trends and use data to help refine future plans, reduce customer acquisition cost and maximise return on investment
Marketing
* Create and execute global reader and influencer campaigns that increase reviews and title visibility on Amazon
* Support Head of Digital Marketing to execute campaigns to drive Amazon sales across multiple channels including website, social media and email platforms
* Work with the marketing team in developing and delivering integrated campaign plans for new and backlist titles, products and series
* Responsible for various aspects of paid digital advertising campaigns, including writing compelling and engaging copy, working on high quality asset creation and audience targeting
* Produce best-in-class marketing materials
General
* Keep abreast of trends, anniversaries and awards to feed into wider team
* Administrative departmental support e.g. assisting with mailouts, etc
Knowledge, skills and experience
Essential
* Can-do attitude

* Good attention to detail and understanding of the importance of accuracy
* Organised and self-motivated team player with ability to use initiative
* Ambitious, keen to learn and able to execute goals
* Flair for writing copy, an eye for design
* Good understanding of digital engagement tools, social media trends
* Excellent at multi-tasking and prioritising workloads
* Strong MS Office skills and comfortable and competent using Excel
Desirable
* Good tech and design skills including experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, image and video editing software
* Enthusiasm for data and analysing it to draw insights that help the business reach more readers with our books and products
