Our client is a growing Fire Protection business, and they are seeking an exceptional Contracts Manager for an immediate start to work out if the offices in Kent. Our client offers a full range of passive fire protection services to businesses and homes across the UK and, due to recent growth, they are looking for a new Contracts Manager to join the team.
Job Description/ Responsibilities:
The Contracts Manager will join with a wealth of industry-related knowledge and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related Contracts Manager role. You will be confident and motivated, with a hands-on approach. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
End-to-end project and cost management, from initial brief to sign off.
To estimate for and oversee the installation of various passive fire protection products and intumescent paint.
Programming projects and ensuring they are carried out to a high level of detail, following all manufacturer guidelines in the process.
Liaising with site management teams, to ensure that all involved are aware of their work processes.
Attending site visits to get a better knowledge of the works required, to assist with quotations.
Attending weekly review meetings of how projects are going, ensuring deadlines are being met.
Producing relevant RAMs and H&S documents, ensuring that these are adhered to, to ensure timely management of both temporary and permanent staff, to meet the requirements of each project.
