Company Overview You will be joining a very well-established and highly regarded Business Management Consultancy as their Assistant Accountant / Finance Executive on a full-time, permanent basis. Part of a sizable finance team of 22, there will be plenty of future progression opportunities here and you will be surrounded by high-performing, collaborative and motivated colleagues. Based in their modern City of London office 4 days a week, you will have the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Role Responsibilities You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts, assisting in the preparation and filing of VAT returns, recording bank transactions, processing sales and purchase invoices, completing statutory reporting under IFRS, handling payroll and contributing to a wide range of company-wide ad-hoc projects. Role Requirements To be considered for this role, you will need to possess at least 12 months of relevant finance experience, ideally in Practice or a Professional Services environment. You will need to be actively studying towards, or keen to begin studying towards a further Accountancy qualification (ACA or AAT only). You will need to be a confident and mature individual with excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. You will have an outstanding work ethic and have the ability to work well as part of a team and also individually with limited supervision. You will be competent with the use of Accountancy software such as Xero and Sage and be confident using Excel to an intermediate level. You will be an enthusiastic individual with a clear passion for your chosen career path and demonstrate a clear willingness to learn.
