First Military are currently searching for a Field Service Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.
Having recently secured a contract to supply, install and maintain modular access control systems to a national sports governing body, we are looking for enthusiastic, problem solving engineers to join
the team.
Working with our clients software partners, their team of engineers have designed a modular access control system to allow the public to pay and play at facilities across the country. Supported by the senior team in the office, the right candidate will be on the ground performing routine and corrective maintenance on the systems. Whilst the modular system is the same for each site, each site differs from each other, the key aspect of the role is on-site problem solving and achieving results.
All accommodation, route planning, site bookings are arranged from the office, leaving you clear to focus on the job in hand.
This is a permanent position, 40 hours a week over 4 days. The role involves a frequent amount of staying away from home and benefits from a large amount of overtime.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. The ideal candidate for this role will be electrical and mechanically minded and ready to overcome any practical challenges that come their way.
2. The role is field based and calls for the right candidate to travel each week
3. The candidate must be well organised and deliver excellent customer service.
4. Full training would be given to the successful candidate.
Skills and Qualifications:
5. Electrical / Mechanical experience
6. Basic metal work skills
7. Technically minded
8. Physically fit and happy to work in all weathers
9. Happy to stay away from home on a regular basis
10. Work independently
11. Problem solver and logical thinker
Location: Cirencester
Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 + Overtime + Vehicle
