As our Nursery Area Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting and nurturing these unique nursery communities, working closely with our dedicated team to ensure each location thrives, all while enjoying the support and resources of a forward-thinking, growth-oriented organisation. Responsibilities include:
* Support settings in achieving high standards of care and education.
* Provide ongoing support for managers.
* Role modelling best practice for staff.
* Manage the performance of nursery managers.
* Ensure management are implementing all policies and procedures as required.
* Develop open and positive working relationships.
* Agree and review nursery targets and objectives with nursery managers.
* Recruit and support the recruitment of teams.
* Have a good knowledge of current documentation and legislation.
* Overall management of Health and safety.
* Understand the funding model for Local Authority and how to implement it.
* Liaise with local councils regarding the processes and systems.
* Develop new policies and procedures when necessary.
* Develop and deliver training to management and teams.
* Monitor the nurseries progress in reaching national priorities.
* Lead managers meetings.
* Monitor and promote equality.
* Ensure managers are compliant with nurseries, Values and Aims.
* Lead the nursery in their self-evaluation and quality assurance processes.
* Ensure managers are actively promoting the nurseries.
* To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed.
