As a Registered Nurse (Adult) youll be an integral part of the healthcare team at HMP Stafford by bringing your clinical skills and passion for care. You could be involved in anything from developing and leading clinics, undertaking examinations and tests as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency. Within this position you will be working as a night nurse in a full time capacity, this will include working shifts patterns of 7 nights on and 7 nights off. With a requirement for a day shift on rotation for ongoing professional development and support. The role will include IV administration of medication, administration of controlled drugs, palliative care including syringe drivers, managing complex patients working alongside a paramedic in response to attending emergencies. We welcome nurses from all areas to apply however these skills are heavily desired.

As a Primary Care Nurse you will work within amulti-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospitaladmissions. You will undertakemedication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency responsesituations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening. You will use your skills and knowledge todeliver nurse led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by amulti-disciplinary team.
