What will you be doing: • Process all new starter compliance as requested to include, DBS checks (including international DBS checks where required), update service checks (where required), DVLA checks, requesting references, keeping compliance tracker updated and communicating with Nursey Managers and HR Business Partners on progress/completion of new starters. • Maintaining the single central list for DBS checks for all staff. Process update service checks when required and new DBS checks prior to their expiration. • Responding to reference requests for current and ex-employees within 5 working days • Managing the compliance inbox, forwarding emails to the Compliance Manager and HR Business Partners where applicable • Data input of DBS checks onto an employee’s personnel file on the company HR Information System (HRIS) • Run reports from the HRIS to show missing fields and action appropriately • Attend weekly HR meetings, minuting meetings where required • Distribute DBS report to Nursery Managers monthly • Keep abreast of new Nursery Managers and Deputy Nursery Managers, and working with the Compliance Manager to ensure these new starters understand the compliance process and where to obtain information • Compile reports for Compliance Manager as required • Provide ad hoc assistance where required to the HR team and to be involved with projects where required • Maintain confidentiality in the workplace and set a good example in terms of dress and behaviour, maintaining the good reputation of the organisation at all times • Any other tasks that can be reasonably expected in relation to the role We are delighted to announce our official certification as a Great Place To Work, reflecting our commitment to creating a positive and thriving environment for our employees.
