Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Account Handler to manage a book of commercial clients, ensuring the highest quality in customer service and technical excellence at all times. To ensure clients insurance needs are met, dealing deal with day to day enquiries from clients, insurers and supporting a team of account executives.
Commercial Account Handler key day to day duties include:-
1. Manage client renewals, including where necessary the remarketing of policies, issuing renewal documentation within timescales set out
2. Handle incoming client queries, regarding policy coverage and/or changes to their cover.
3. Develop relationship with key insurer markets.
4. Work alongside Account Executives and the wider team to provide a broking service and assist in the preparation with client reports.
5. Cross sell/up sell to existing clients, by identifying any potential gaps in cover or policies held elsewhere.
6. Contribute towards the teams revenue goals, both for renewal retention and new business.
The successful Commercial Account Handler will have the following skills and experience:-

8. Commercial insurance multi class product knowledge
9. Strong communicator
10. Negotiation skills
11. Customer service & sales focussed.
12. Acturis experience
13. Cert CII or willingness to work towards
