Head of Product
We are looking for a Head of Product to join our Group IT team in Milton Keynes. You will lead the Business Analysis job family and ensures that the business analysts operate effectively within the business aligned team. You will be responsible for the structure of business analysts, ensures that the right ratio of business analysts are assigned to the agile teams, they have the expected standard of business understanding and skillets to support the business in their analysis, and design of future enhancements. You will also ensure that the business analysts across the technology team operate in a consistent way and adhere to the ways of working adopted in technology.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the team of business and system analysts that sit within the business aligned agile teams.
2. Recruit and develop business analysts as needed.
3. Ensure the processes of analysis are well documented, communicated and trained.
4. Oversee & lead the lifecycle of product development – ensuring that analysts support the engineers through the build and test process.
5. Lead the day to day execution of product delivery and development.
6. Ensure product development priorities are driven by commercial and profitable outcomes.
7. Provide a framework for evaluating the product portfolio and investment decisions.
8. Ensure products are managed to requisite quality, capturing all necessary requirements from across the business and minimising business operational disruption.
9. Continuously suggest enhance ways of developing the team and their capabilities.
Experience and Qualifications
10. Demonstrated leadership skills and experience.
11. Strong talent management skills including talent development, coaching, mentoring, and team motivation.
12. Experience leading geographically distributed teams.
13. Understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
14. Understanding of relevant tools (e.g. Jira, Azure Dev Ops, etc ), with an eagerness to learn about new and unfamiliar technologies.
15. Ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships at all levels of the organization.
16. Strong business acumen and ability to understand and drive business objectives.

18. Strong organizational skills, including an ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands for resources.
