An exciting opportunity has arisen for a GovernanceManager to join the team at Garden House Hospice.
Reporting to the Director of Patient Services, youwill be instrumental in driving service quality and safety, in both Clinical andNon Clinical services ensuring they are underpinned by a robust qualitygovernance and safety framework. Youll also beresponsible for driving a culture of continuous quality improvement across theHospice teams and an active member of theHospice Management Board.

Job responsibilities
1.The Managerhas responsibility for the delivery and sustainability of effective systems of governanceboth patient facing and non-patient facing and sustaining good quality patientcare.
2.The managerwill be responsible for design, maintenance and implementation of systems toinvestigate ,manage and resolveincidents, risks and complaints.
3.The manager will be responsible for coordinating and delivering trainingto staff especially around new learning from incidents.
4.The managerwill ensure that there are systems maintained to monitor, measure and evaluatelevels of:
Infectionprevention and control outbreaks
Safeguardingapplications
Professionalrevalidation of Nursing staff
Riskmanagement
Health andsafety incidents investigation and management
Level ofQuality and compliance with regulatory bodies
Patientexperience.
Complaintsinvestigation
Otherinvestigations utilizing PSIRF methodology
5.This is abroad portfolio and therefore the post holder will often be required to workwithin a broad multi-disciplinary team
6.The managerhas a significant leadership and communication role in relation to raisingpatient safety, quality and governancestandards throughout the organisation, ensuring that such standards meet theregistration requirements of the Care Quality Commission and other regulatorswhilst creating an environment which promotes and supports high standards ofpractice, resulting in high quality patient care. The post holder will lead thedevelopment of strategies and deliveryplans to enable high qualitysafe service provision.

1. Educated to Bachelors level or equivalent
2. Evidence of recent ongoing personal development action and achievement
3. Current clinical professional registration
