Your new companyAn established organisation located on the Suffolk / Norfolk border, my client is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join them in the standalone role of Payroll Manager.
Your new roleWorking as part of a wider accounts department in a professional, friendly and supportive team environment, you will be responsible for running the payroll for this local SME. - Weekly payroll for circa 50 employees- Monthly payroll for circa 30 employees- Processing and uploading Time & Attendance data- Monthly PAYE/NI declarations- Processing monthly payslips- Maintaining holiday and sickness records- End of tax year processing- P60S- Responding to employee payroll queries- Maintaining up-to-date payroll legislation knowledgeWhat you'll need to succeedYou will have a proven track record in a similar role with up-to-date payroll legislation knowledge. Sage Payroll knowledge would be highly beneficial alongside a practical and proactive approach to process improvement.
What you'll get in returnThis role is being offered on a part-time permanent basis of 3 days a week with flexibility over hours and work patterns. Due to the nature of the payrolls and deadlines, Monday and Tuesdays would be a requirement.
