Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Auditor to join our Client based in Sutton. This role offers excellent career progression within their reputable firm. As an Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering statutory and specialist audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and execute statutory and specialist audit services (90% audit, 10% non-audit split).
2. Prepare statutory accounts for select audit clients.
3. Handle corporation tax returns and directors’ personal tax returns.
4. Provide accountancy and advisory services to support the wider team.
5. Design and oversee audits from planning through to completion, collaborating with both colleagues and clients.
6. Conduct pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients.
7. Utilise accounting software to prepare and finalise audit files for review.
8. Monitor and manage job budgets to ensure timely completion within budget.
9. Review work by junior colleagues, encouraging high-quality delivery.
Requirements:
10. ACA or ACCA qualified.
11. Ideally, hold a 2:1 degree.
12. Demonstrable experience in an audit position within an accountancy practice, adhering to individual job budgets and maximising fee recovery.
13. Strong technical proficiency in leading audits.
14. Familiarity with Sage accounting software, including SAPA, Sage Corporation Tax, and Sage Personal Tax.
15. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
