1. Position: Accountancy – Assistant Manager
2. Salary: £55,000 per annum plus very good company benefits
3. Location: Uckfield, East Sussex
4. Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:15 -17:30
5. This role is primarily office based but there are opportunities to also work from home part of the week.

We are delighted to be working alongside our very professional and highly reputable accountancy based client as they seek to recruit an Assistant Manager (accountancy) to join their Uckfield team on a permanent and full time basis.
Duties and responsibilities:
7. Lead and develop an effective team
8. Monitor the team – review the team’s work, ensuring quality and compliance
9. Manage team and individual budgets and performance objectives
10. Oversee and control completion of accounts assignments including assessing controls, systems and planning
11. Manage client relationships and identify opportunities
12. Maintaining a high technical and professional standard
13. Identify ways to maximise client relationships and deliver added value
14. Work closely with the Manager/Partner in the planning and conduct of accounts assignments discussing findings, emerging risks and actions to resolve any such risks
Skills and experience required:
15. Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
16. Credibility to lead, develop and motivate individuals and the team as a whole
17. An analytical and inquisitive mind with the ability to solve problems
