Mental Health Unit Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Are you a qualified, passionate, and driven SEMH TA, HLTA or Teacher, with a commitment to supporting students with complex Mental Health Needs? Have you got experience of Higher Level Teaching Assistant work? If you are able to offer resilient and confident support, effectively promote positive behaviours, and engage students in their own learning, we want to hear from you!
The Job:
* Working in a Tier 4 Inpatient Mental Health Unit Crisis Ward
* Supporting pupils with Literacy and Phonics
* Delivering tailored interventions to children with complex mental health needs
* A half a term full time contract

What we need from you:
* Suitable Higher Level Teaching Assistant HLTA qualification or experince
* Experience supporting students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
* Experience planning and leading classes of children with additional needs
* Ability to foster self-relience and self-esteem amongst pupils with SEMH or EBD
* Dedication and resilience
* Ability to take initiative and use innovative methods in the classroom
