Role Overview:
We are looking for a caring and reliable Midday Supervisor to support pupils during their lunch break in a local primary school. This role involves supervising children in the dining hall and playground, ensuring their safety, promoting positive behaviour, and encouraging enjoyable and inclusive play.
Your role will help create a happy and secure lunchtime environment for all pupils, fostering positive interactions and addressing any minor issues that arise. Safeguarding and the welfare of children will be at the heart of everything you do.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Supervise children during lunch breaks in the dining hall, playground, and other areas.
Encourage positive behaviour and support pupils with eating and playing.
Organise and oversee engaging playground activities.
Address minor first aid incidents and support children as needed.
Collaborate with staff to maintain a safe and inclusive environment.
Key Requirements:
Friendly, approachable, and patient.
Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.
Awareness of safeguarding practices (training provided).
Basic first aid skills (desirable but not essential).
