Whether it’s industrial embedded computing, custom lithium battery packs, secure communication systems, antennas, or imaging technology, our innovations ensure critical systems operate consistently, around the clock.
Key Responsibilities of This Role
* Implementing and managing inspection and certification control plans.
* Supporting the project management team with contract reviews, PPAPs, FAIRs, and customer audits/visits.
* Conducting in-process production part approval through visual and dimensional inspection of components manufactured in-house.
* Performing goods-inwards inspection of various components against engineering drawings, ensuring all requirements are met.
* Conducting final inspection of completed antennas or assemblies, including signoff.
* Providing manufacturing support to production areas in relation to quality issues.
* Ensuring procedures, policies, work instructions, forms, etc., are implemented, maintained, and updated as needed.
* Evaluating measurement systems.
* Actively supporting the business’s QMS to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications.
* Carrying out shop floor product sample and process audits according to a recognised schedule.
* Managing non-conformances, including manufacturing issues, supplier rejections, and customer complaints.
* Overseeing the Engineering Change Request (ECR) process, obtaining signoff, assessing the scope and impact of changes, and updating relevant documentation in Epicor.
* Supporting Engineering and Production by verifying manufacturing documentation packs and Epicor BOMs are correct and comprehensive for manufacturing, assembly, validation, verification, and formal quality processes prior to production release.
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong mechanical engineering background.
* ISO Internal Auditor qualification – ISO 9001:2015 and/or ISO 14001:2015.
