What the Job Involves The role of Occupational Therapist involves delivering front-line service, directly engaging with children, adults, families, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes. You will assess and intervene to empower vulnerable individuals and ensure they reach their maximum potential for independence. The position entails managing caseloads, delivering continuous service improvements, and keeping updated on policies and legislation. You work in collaboration with the Sutton Health and Care NHS teams and provide guidance to Enabling Independence Officers. Based in the central Sutton office, with hybrid working options, you'll visit residents as needed, using a car for work-related visits. This role is critical to enhancing the quality of life for individuals in Sutton, ensuring you provide robust assessments and recommendations to support residents' needs.
