About the apprenticeship
Duties
As a Marketing Professional, you will be responsible for supporting the marketing programme across a group of education centres in South Wales and online nationally.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
• Assist in developing and implementing marketing campaigns across various platforms such as social media, search engines and in-person sales
• Conduct research to support digital marketing initiatives and strategies.
• Monitor and optimise paid search and social accounts.
• Monitor and analyse website and campaign performance using Google Analytics and other tools.
• Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices and make recommendations for improvements.
• Conduct telephone sales calls to prospective clients; respond to incoming calls from clients
• Conduct telephone prospecting for business-to-business sales, present to businesses for sales purposes
• Deal with customer service queries and maintain an atmosphere of positive engagement with customers
• Manage, implement promotional events, including overseeing freelance promotions agents and self-employed sales agents
• Support graphical design and promotions materials

About the company:
Better Start Tuition is celebrating its thirtieth anniversary this year. As part of our corporate restructuring we are now bringing all our operations together under a single brand and re-launching our in-person and online educational services. We provide after-school tuition in maths, English and science to pupils from age 4-18 in our fun ‘Learning Dens’ or online.
One post (30 hours/week) will be based long term in our Merthyr office (initially starting in our Upper Boat office). One post (35 hours/week) will be based in our Caerphilly site

Qualifications
• 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (must include: English Language and Maths/Numeracy)
• At least two years work experience in a customer facing role
Skills Required / Personal qualities:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Be willing to develop communication and presentational skills.
• Knowledge of digital marketing concepts and tools.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to learn skills in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Positive, outgoing personality
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver results
